The month Karkidaka (corresponding to the Tamil month Aadi) falling during 17.07.2026 to 16.08.2026, is devoted to the worship of Goddess Bhagawathi (Lalita Parameswari). Ganapathi Homam, Bhagavathi Seva, Bhagawathi Puja and special pujas are performed during the month to invoke the divine Mother's Blessings to ward off all evils and to bring in peace and prosperity to the mankind. The pious and the devout also observe this month as Ramayana Masam, when regular parayanam of the famous epic "Ramayanam" is organised in temples and also in households. As over the years, special offerings can be arranged in the temple. Devotees desirous of participating are requested to book their Pujas / Offerings with the temple office in advance.
